Read more...Today we began our Constitution unit. We started the articles worksheet and talked about the structure of the Constitution. We will continue this worksheet on Tuesday. The Power point, Structure 1 will help you. The Worksheet is under assignments and is called "Constitution Outline."

Today we had a silent debate on the upcoming bills in the Utah State Legislature.
The follow up assignment was to choose one of the bills you are passionate about and email your Representative or Senator with your opinion on why he/she should or should not vote to pass the bill.

Test Review
Today we finished talking about the Constitution and had our constitutional ratification debate.
Please make sure you know the arguments from the Federalists and Anti-Federalists!! It will be on the test!
You need to have the debate paper filled out--see assignments for the paper if you missed it.
Today we continued watching A More Perfect Union. We discussed the issues and solutions that the delegates addressed at the convention. These answers were put on the yellow handout we gave last time, The Articles of Confederation on the front.
